Great White Shark Diving: Personal Gear
We've got you covered for just about everything you'll need, but here are a few items to consider...
Dive Gear:
- Mask...it is your most important piece of dive gear. Although we provide masks, the only way to be 100% sure of a good fit for your particular face is to bring your own.
- Underwater camera (We can arrange quality rentals at affordable prices)
Personal Gear:
Above water conditions at Guadalupe Island are usually mild to warm (65-80 degrees). However, as with any offshore destination there is always the possibility of wind and overcast skies. For this reason we suggest a broad range of clothing to ensure your comfort regardless of conditions. Other important personal items are:
- Polarized Sunglasses(important for topside viewing)
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Windbreaker and Jacket
- Sandals
- Shoes
- Towels
- Binoculars
- Toiletries
- Books
- Batteries
- Camera/Film
- Passport
Do not bring:
- BC (Buoyancy Compensator)
