Like Cortez, this is an open-water site located offshore. Tanner is a deep dive site with minimum depths around 110 feet. Tanner bank is a large plateau offering breathtaking drop-offs into the abyss along with red, pink and purple hydrocoral. Rock fish congregate here in abundance as do gamefish when water conditions are right. It's not uncommon to see large schools of Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito here in the summer when the water warms up. Because of its open water location and depth, this site is recommended for experienced divers only.
