Guadalupe Island Great White Shark Diving Trip, 11/13/09
We were greeted by wind and lots of it upon our arrival at Guadalupe Island. We made a pass through the North Bay to assess conditions but decided to move on. With gusts up to 35 knots we erred on the side of caution and made our way south to an alternate dive site. While we’ve seen numerous Great White Sharks at our alternate site in the past, today proved to be a different story. All in all, a very slow day of white shark diving. We plan on spending the night out of the wind and making the move to the North Bay early in the mornning.
