Guadalupe Island White Shark Cage Diving 11/8/09
Expecting a little wind, we motored down to the south end last night. Luckily it never really materialized and we had a nice night on the anchor. At sunrise we took a short tour of the south end of Guadalupe Island to look at Outer Rock which is the solid rock core of an extinct volcano that rises about three hundred feet straight out of the water. By noon we made our way up to the North Bay to dive with White Sharks. We had one shark pass deep but did not stick around long. By 2pm it was starting to get a little breezy with winds building to fifty knots which basically ended our dive day. Our wind was 12 hours late.
