Islander Charters moves toward Sustainable Tourism: March 5 2007
Our goal over the next five years is to create and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with Mexico by developing itineraries that ultimately give back to local economies. We will accomplish this by:
1. Scheduling select trips that will depart and arrive from various Mexican ports thereby utilizing local services for provisioning and expediting dockside procedures.
2. Incorporating local guide services into our itineraries in order to engage local communities on a socioeconomic level.
3. Educating our clients about Baja California’s culture, natural resources, and the importance of their preservation.
