We spent the night at San Martin Island last and fished the coast on our last day.  We hit some stock rockfish spots around the Island and ended up at Colnett late afternoon. Being Memorial Weekend, we had quite a few boats from our fleet combing the ocean for Tuna. Almost every boat had some sort of encounter with Albacore. We departed at noon and after a quick stop for bait, headed past the Point to for a little warm up on some log Barracuda. We made another stop at the Islands to look around for some Yellows and found beautiful water but no fish. We’re now heading south with hopes of early season Albacore.  [...]
