We made the run across to Colnett to finish off the trip. We looked at several stock rockfish spots but none were holding straight Reds like we were hoping. Conditions were beautiful with blue 68 degree water. We got the anchor down and caught a couple Dorado, two really nice Yellowtail and some Lingcod. [...]

Backwards conditions this morning did nothing to help our cause. Needless to say, we caught only caught a few fish here. We made a move down to the south end where we picked up about thirty Tuna. We’ll make bait tonight and look around for some big ones tomorrow.

We cleared the point by 10am pointed for Guadalupe Island. We’ll travel all day today and hope to arrive by 9am. Reports of good fishing on mixed grade Yellowfin from the south end has everyone aboard eagerly awaiting our arrival.
