Slow start but a big finish. We scratched a 1-6 fish on each kelp we stopped on. We saw good schools of Dorado and Yellowtail on several kelps but they didn’t bite well until the afternoon. Late in the day, we fished a large kelp that good for all the Dorado we needed. The fish [...]
No kelp on the way down this morning but we did have an open water Dorado school that provided some much needed mid-morning action. The rest of the day we managed to pick away and stay busy on small kelps but never found a good one.

One lucky kelp fixed us up for the trip today. After leaving that kelp, we only saw one more until dark. There is some very good kelp paddy fishing but very few kelps.
