Spring Three Day Trips to the Mexican Coast and San Martin Island

Priced at only $495, these early season trips are an excellent opportunity to get back on the water at a reasonable price. This time of year it's not uncommon to find good concentrations of Yellowtail at various spots along the northern Baja coast as well as at San Martin Island. Rock Cod, Ling Cod and other bottom dwellers are also favorites on these trips. Additionally, early season Albacore and Bluefin are a possibility provided water conditions look right.

Islander's itinerary may include:

Coastal Spots: Various points and kelp beds provide perfect habitat for Yellowtail this time of year.

Punta Colnett: The 'high spot' just outside Punta Colnett can offer excellent Yellowtail fishing in the spring. Red Rock cod congragate around this area as well and 'limit style' fishing for big Reds is not uncommon

fish Offshore Tuna Fishing: As long as water conditions look promising there is always the chance for an encounter with early season Albacore or Bluefin. In the past good catches have been made offshore this time of year. Additionally, there is always the possibility of finding Yellowtail on kelps.
